Key Electric LLC d/b/a Backup Power Pro Last updated: October 16, 2026

Backup Power Pro is Key Electric LLC doing business as Backup Power Pro. This policy explains how we use information from the Quote Walk, related customer communications and project records. Contact backuppowerpro.network@gmail.com about privacy questions or requests.

1. Information you provide

We collect the contact and home-address details you provide, your generator and installation answers, your saved price-range decision, and messages or setup photos you send us. We use this information to check the project, prepare a proposal, communicate with you and complete work you later authorize. If you contact us by email, we also collect the email address and information you provide.

An inquiry is created after your contact details are successfully submitted. Uploading a panel photo or selecting an estimate range by itself does not create an accepted inquiry. The range is an installation estimate and does not book work or require a payment. Key reviews your setup and photos before preparing a firm proposal. Booking and payment happen separately, under the proposal you later approve.

2. Text messages and photos

You can choose whether to receive texts from Backup Power Pro about your requested quote and installation. These may include a setup-photo request, proposal questions, scheduling and project updates. Some project messages may be automated. Message frequency varies with your project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts. Reply HELP for text-message information. For assistance with your request or project, email backuppowerpro.network@gmail.com. Text consent is not required to buy our services.

Text permission applies to Backup Power Pro and this subject. It does not grant permission for unrelated promotional messages or another brand's marketing, including Key Electric marketing. We do not sell or transfer SMS opt-in choices or consent records to others for their own promotional messaging. Service providers may process these records to deliver our messages and support consent verification. The advertising use of contact identifiers is described separately below.

Photo and video uploads for your quote

Photograph or film only the outside of a closed panel. Never remove screws or covers, open electrical equipment, or touch wiring. Only capture views you can get safely.

We use your setup photos and videos for private quote review and installation planning. One closed-panel photo is required; extra photos and videos are optional. Avoid including people, mail or other personal information. Photos keep the full frame, without cropping. Your browser proportionally resizes larger photos to a maximum 1,600-pixel long edge and compresses them as JPEGs; the saved photo is not a byte-for-byte copy of your original file. Optional MP4, MOV and WebM videos are limited to 4 MB each and keep their original uploaded bytes, including any embedded audio or metadata. Choose a short clip that plays on your device.

Uploading a photo or video alone does not submit your contact details or create an accepted request. The X on an item removes only that selected item; your other uploads remain. You can keep up to 10 photos and videos combined. Before you submit your details:

  • Your unsent photo session lasts 24 hours. We warn you 2 minutes before expiry.
  • Each Extend photo time action adds 15 minutes, up to 10 extensions.
  • Expired or removed unsent photos and videos cannot be used to submit this quote and are queued for cleanup. Physical deletion may happen later; it is not guaranteed to be immediate.

Once your request is successfully received, all photos and videos you keep in your request stay attached for Key to review. Project records follow the retention information below; the unsent-session time limit does not set a deletion deadline for an accepted project.

We record your affirmative upload action with this upload-policy version and a server-recorded time. Uploading does not choose email or text-message permission; those choices remain separate and optional.

If you cannot safely provide a photo or need help uploading, call (864) 863-7800 for help with your quote.

Additional setup photos may be requested by text after submission. Twilio handles text messages and their attachments. We save message and image copies in our business systems so Key can review your setup and keep the project record. To ask about a quote without texts, email backuppowerpro.network@gmail.com.

3. Website measurement, cookies and browser storage

The Quote Walk uses browser storage to remember a protected saved request. Website measurement uses a browser identifier and limited page-interaction events to understand the flow. Advertising measurement can also use Meta cookies, advertising click identifiers, source information and conversion events.

We use these measurements to understand where inquiries come from and improve the site and our advertising. The modern Quote Walk checks Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals to suppress its analytics and advertising measurement. Providing project details or choosing texts is separate from these browser privacy signals. Browser settings can also control cookies and local storage. Blocking storage can affect how a saved request resumes in the same browser.

4. Providers and information sharing

We use service providers to operate the Quote Walk and related project services. Depending on the feature being used, they include:

  • Supabase: contact and project records, saved answers, range decisions, consent evidence, messages and image storage.
  • Twilio: sending and receiving project texts and photo attachments, with phone, message and delivery information.
  • Email providers: Google (Gmail) handles messages sent to our published mailbox. Resend processes project emails and, when you choose the guide-and-updates option, the guide and BPP tips and offers. Providing a required email address alone does not sign you up for tips and offers. These services process email addresses, message contents, project links and attachments when included.
  • PostHog: website and product measurement using browser identifiers and limited page and interaction events.
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API: advertising measurement and matching conversion events to advertising interactions.
  • Mapbox: address suggestions using address text entered into the Quote Walk.
  • U.S. Census geocoder and county GIS services: address and service-area checks and available property information using the supplied address or derived location.
  • Anthropic, when message-analysis functions are enabled: assessing incoming message text for spam and extracting or summarizing project details from conversation text and operator notes.
  • Stripe: processing later payments and returning payment-status and receipt information. Payment card entry is handled through Stripe, rather than the Quote Walk contact form.
  • Website hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare: serving the site and supporting request and security controls.

For Meta Conversions API, some contact matching fields, such as phone number, a supplied email address and other contact or location identifiers, are transformed into hashes before transmission. Hashing does not make this information anonymous: Meta can use the hashed values to match a person. Event data may also include the event source, IP address, browser information and Meta cookie or click identifiers. This supports advertising measurement and is separate from permission to send marketing texts.

We may also use or disclose information when needed to carry out your requested service, handle a dispute or meet an applicable legal obligation.

5. Consent records and protection

We keep records of your messaging choice, its form or source and time, and related technical evidence such as IP address and browser information. We also keep withdrawal and suppression information to help honor a prior STOP when a request is repeated or a number is changed.

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect business records. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Retention and your choices

We keep information according to the purpose for which it was collected, ongoing service needs, consent and withdrawal evidence, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Different records may need different retention. A project, legal obligation or dispute may require us to retain some information after a deletion request.

Contact backuppowerpro.network@gmail.com to ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information. We will explain any information we must keep and the reason. You can withdraw text consent by replying STOP without deleting the underlying project record.

7. Changes to this policy

We update the date when this policy changes. The current policy is available at backuppowerpro.com/privacy. A policy update does not by itself grant new text-message or other-brand marketing permission.
